PALO ALTO 6/10/17

Visual Artist Nate Page and Dance Artist Chelsea Zeffiro – along with the of community of Greenmeadow neighborhood of Palo Alto, CA – are excited to announce the culmination of a three month collaboration between the aforementioned artists and neighborhood residents in a one-night, multi-channel video installation using Joseph Eichler’s iconic mid-century Modern tract homes as both the setting and backdrop for a truly unique and captivating event on June 10, 2017 – from Sundown to Midnight in the Greenmeadow neighborhood of Palo Alto, CA.

CALIFORNIA LIVING PROJECT II: PALO ALTO will project 20 individual films of 16 different interior lifestyles, part candid and part performed, directly onto the facades of the homes scattered throughout the neighborhood for a self-guided exploration of a community turned inside-out.

With visual direction from Page and movement direction from Zeffiro, Greenmeadow residents have shared snapshots of their inner lives on film for this distinctive project – at times creating dances and scenes on the spot and in collaboration with Zeffiro and professional dance artists: Angel Acuña & Kaitlyn Petrik.
